Boys & Girls Clubs of America has a wonderful mission statement: "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." Talented employees are critical to that mission, and leadership plays a vital role in attracting and retaining the very best workers. To reach their full potential as leaders, today's managers must show employees that their organization's values are real, and demonstrate a personal commitment to living out those values.
